In order to improve these mechanical properties, the matrix materials always are blent with other substances, such as talc, carbon fibres and glass fibres. However, these recycled plastic composites are also affected by environmental conditions. For many kinds of virgin plastic, the higher temperature and UV irradiation can accelerate the ageing of them. However it is unknown whether the environmental conditions will have the same effects on the recycled plastic composites. The aim of this project is to investigate the change of mechanical properties of the recycled plastic composites, and find out the function of fillers in resisting ageing. Interests
